Bratislava University of Economics and Business
Based at the Bratislava University of Economics and Business, the Family Business Center is a specialist academic and practical hub dedicated to strengthening family-owned enterprises across Slovakia and beyond. Under the leadership of Assoc. Prof. Dipl. Ing. Monika Naďová Krošláková, PhD, the Center supports families in business through research, education, and public engagement.
By combining academic rigour with practical experience, the Family Business Center offers a trusted space for business families to learn, reflect, and grow. We believe family businesses are not just built for profit — they are built for purpose, people, and generations.
Our vision is to nurture future leaders who are equipped not only with business acumen, but with empathy, responsibility, and a strong sense of identity. Whether you are an established founder, an emerging successor, or a researcher seeking to explore the soul of family enterprise, the Center welcomes your curiosity and your commitment.
The Center is also a gateway to collaboration — connecting local families with international networks, global expertise, and cross-sector dialogue. Through events, research, and open engagement, we contribute to a future where family businesses are recognised as the enduring pillars of inclusive economic prosperity.
